BTS Hospital Scene – As Director, NOT DP!

In one of my videos on this channel I tell viewers NOT to try and Direct and DP at the same time. Here I am practicing what I preach. On this indie film I have been called in as a second unit Director. So what did I do? I HIRED someone to be my DP! Could I have done both? Yes. But it’s better to put your focus on Directing and let someone else concern themselves with camera. Don’t wear too many hats at once!
